Steadier across devices, and clearer about your money.

New

  • Amounts are also shown in your home currency wherever a subscription is priced in another one — an ≈ line on the detail screen, lists, widgets, the menu bar, Spotlight and Siri
  • Your data is now always saved on this device, even when iCloud is unavailable
  • A new iCloud panel in Settings — where your data is stored, the sync status, what's on this device, when iCloud last sent a change, and a Sync Now button that reports honestly what happened
  • Sample subscriptions ask before loading, and a Remove Sample Data action cleans up exactly what was added, in one step

  • The free version covers 5 subscriptions. Pro and Founder are unlimited, everything already in your library stays fully visible and editable whatever the count, and export, import and backup stay free — the limit only applies when adding or importing

Fixed

  • Duplicate categories no longer appear when Subception is used on more than one device — and existing duplicates tidy themselves up automatically, with nothing orphaned
  • Cleaner currency display: plain symbols (£, $, €) with a small currency code when an amount isn't in your display currency, and no stray .00 on whole figures

Subception collects nothing. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party frameworks. The only outbound request the app makes is an anonymous, keyless read of the European Central Bank's public exchange-rate feed — see the privacy policy.
